Shelter2Home has partnered with PWOJE ESPWA SUD, which is a Haitian registered Non-governmental organization (NGO) that cares for approximately 680 orphaned children and provides primary, secondary and vocational training for 1,200 students in Les Cayes, Haiti. This program is geared to take educated orphaned children of working age and introduce them into our Job/Training & Manufacturing Program.
PWOJE ESPWA SUD and Shelter2Home has agreed that orphans graduating from their secondary and vocational schools can be employed under the Shelter2Home Job Training Program and given the opportunity for permanent employment.
Shelter2Home will look to establish partnerships with other orphanages and schools since a large number of workers are required. Considering that students have no predisposed knowledge to real world construction skills, it provides the perfect opportunity to correctly train each worker in both skill and appropriate work ethic.
(Winchester, Virginia) Shelter2Home, a Winchester-based business with a unique approach to post-disaster shelter and safe, affordable housing, is gearing up for a major initiative in Haiti.
