Through the generosity of the City of Lanford British Columbia’s community residents and businesses, their goal is to help the Sisters of the Baby Jesus of Prague Orphanage in Meyotte, Port au Prince, Haiti rebuild their destroyed orphanage. They endeavor to provide the orphaned children with a safe haven, a chapel to practice their faith, and classrooms to learn both academic and life skills. They are dedicating the building in honor of RCMP Officers, C/Supt Doug Coates and Sgt. Marc Gallagher, who lost their lives in the January 2010 earthquake.
